Our History
Forst Insurance Agency can trace its roots back to 1917. Today, Alfred J Forst, CIC is the third generation to own the insurance agency. Al started in the insurance business in 1979 and earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1990.
John J Becvar, Jr, CPCU started his insurance career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1969. He earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation in 1991.
Al and John formed Forst-Becvar Insurance Agency in 1993, and moved the agency from Cicero, Illinois to the present Westchester, IL location in 2002.
Today, Forst-Becvar covers all of Chicagoland including Cook, Lake, and Will counties.
